Update for payrolls beginning January 1, 2026
Updated federal basic personal amount, provincial basic personal amounts, federal and provincial taxable income brackets, CPP, CPP2 and EI rates effective for payrolls commencing January 1, 2026.
Updated Québec TP-1015.3V basic personal amount, taxable income brackets, QPP, QPP2 & QPIP rates effective for payrolls commencing January 1, 2026.
webTOD calculates employee payroll deductions for Canada Pension Plan (CPP) and Québec Pension Plan (QPP), including the new 2nd additional contribution to CPP and QPP (CPP2 & QPP2), Employment Insurance (EI), Québec Parental Insurance Plan (QPIP), and federal, provincial (including Québec) and territorial income tax and will allow you to print out a simple Payroll Deductions Calculation results summary, showing your deduction calculations in a clear and easy-to-understand format.
webTOD also displays an employer remittance summary for each calculation, showing required remittances to CRA and to Revenu Québec (if applicable) for the employee and employer portions of each calculated deduction amount.
webTOD also calculates Québec payroll deductions (CRA’s PDOC calculator does not), so it can also be used as an alternative to Revenu Québec’s webRAS program.
Use webTOD to calculate Canadian payroll tax deductions on regular salary & wages, pension income, bonuses, retroactive pay increases and/or commission income payments.
webTOD will calculate payroll deductions for any payroll period frequency, including daily, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly and annual.
Why use webTOD?
It’s easier and quicker to use than looking up deduction amounts in the CRA Payroll Deduction Tables.
As a single-page web application, it provides a more comprehensive, intuitive and user-friendly interface than CRA’s PDOC and Revenu Québec’s webRAS programs, both of which utilize a cumbersome multi-page form interface. webTOD‘s ‘Basic’ calculator mode provides a much quicker data input interface for simple payroll deduction calculations.
webTOD will calculate Québec payroll deductions, while CRA PDOC does not include calculations for Québec, and webRAS does not include calculations for CRA remittances, so webTOD combines two separate programs into one for Québec employers.
webTOD runs in all major modern web browsers – so the only software you need is the web browser you already have installed!
We update webTOD for changes in payroll deduction rates and formulas for you – so you never need to worry about whether you have the up-to-date version installed. webTOD is usually updated, as tax changes occur, for January 1 and July 1 each year.
Why not try it out? It’s free, it’s easy, it’s quick and it’s accurate. To use the calculator, simply click on the “Start Calculator” button.
